Overview Addison Walter
Attorney Emily Davidson is a member of our Estate Planning/Estate and Trust Administration practice. Emily is dedicated to tailoring estate plans to every client’s individual needs, taking the time to understand each client’s background and planning goals to develop a comprehensive plan and ensure their family’s needs are cared for.
During law school, Emily worked in the Sikov Elder Law Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law where she first gained experience representing clients in guardianship matters and drafting simple estate planning documents to low-income older adults.
Before joining SutterWilliams, Emily worked for another law firm where she further developed her practice of drafting estate planning documents and assisted clients in a variety of other legal matters.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Emily currently lives in Greentree, where she enjoys reading, Pilates, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. In her free time, Emily can be found visiting local coffee shops with friends and listening to albums in her hammock.
Education
Attorney Emily Davidson earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was awarded their Student Leadership Award.
While in law school, Attorney Davidson worked for the Pennsylvania Governors Office of General Counsel representing the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the Pittsburgh Office. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a minor in Economics.
Attorney Davidson is licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
